manasa

What you are looking for
is already within.

a coaching practice

This practice does not add anything to you. It lets the water grow still enough to hold the reflection.

Manasa means of the mind — and it is the name of the high, clear lake said to be born of the mind itself, so undisturbed it holds a perfect image of the sky above it. A coaching conversation is exactly that: the mind, in still enough water to see what is already there.

the work, in three movements
i

Stillness

The water settles. What was churned and unreadable begins to hold an image.

ii

Reflection

You see what was always there — clearly, without flinching. Most hours live here.

iii

The surfacing

What was seen within begins to take its place in the world, and the world catches up.

to begin

The first conversation is unhurried.

Ninety minutes, no commitment. We talk about what you are listening for, and whether this practice can hold it.
